Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

Solene Atelier respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our website or work with our studio, how we use it, and the rights you hold under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who we are

Solene Atelier is an interior design studio based at Nyhavn 31, 1051 Copenhagen, Denmark. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@solenestudio.dk or +45 32 14 56 78.

What data we collect

We collect the information you provide directly to us: your name, email address, project location, budget range, timeline, and anything you write in a message when you submit our project inquiry form or subscribe to our newsletter.

We also collect limited technical data automatically when you browse the site, such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring page. This data helps us understand how the site is used and keep it secure.

How we use your data

We use inquiry details to respond to your request, prepare proposals, and deliver design services. We use newsletter email addresses to send occasional studio updates — you can unsubscribe at any time. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Cookies

Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies: strictly necessary cookies that make the site function, and analytics cookies that help us understand visitor behaviour in aggregate. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect parts of the site such as form submission.

Third-party services

We rely on a few trusted providers to run this site: B12 (website hosting and form processing), Google Fonts (typefaces) and Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection on forms). These providers may process technical data such as your IP address on our behalf. Each operates under its own privacy policy, and where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses apply.

Data retention

We keep inquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request and, if you become a client, for the duration of our engagement plus the period required by Danish bookkeeping law. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request deletion, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@solenestudio.dk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
